2. 0:11talk this is episode 3 I want to thank you all for listening in tuning in and
3. 0:20joining me in this journey you know I am very thankful I'm very blessed yeah
4. 0:29let's jump right into it it's gonna be a real quick episode I I've been up 20 30
5. 0:37plus hours basically since yesterday been filming since 10 a.m. so yeah I
6. 0:47definitely want to jump into it had a lot going on today had to knock it out
7. 0:52and I still wanted to give energy towards this podcast and give some
8. 1:01insight so I definitely want to honor my word and push through no matter how
9. 1:06tired I am I am very tired you may have heard the previous episodes me a
10. 1:12lot of energetic sometimes it would be like this where I'm just tired but
11. 1:19episode 3 I would definitely want to speak about a subject that's very very
12. 1:25important and that's decision-making decisions are the most important
13. 1:34navigation tool in your life and certainly mine as well simply by
14. 1:44making the decision you are saying yes to one thing if you're saying yes to
15. 1:48one thing you're saying no to another so have you take that have
16. 1:56you received that that's that also look at the word decision you know kind of
17. 2:07break it down as die decision you break it up with division die vision two
18. 2:15visions and you really got to decide between one or two divide it up and
19. 2:22and let me one moment everybody while I'm still doing this I've been up all
20. 2:51day but yeah that's neither here or there but again decisions is really
21. 3:07considering considerations and trying not to use the word decide but you
22. 3:15really deciding on something you're figuring out something you're
23. 3:21identifying something you're doing your analysis what are the facts and you
24. 3:33bring that up on also knowledge and you really choosing something choosing
25. 3:40aside choosing an idea choosing a direction decision-making is one of
26. 3:51the most important things in life I call it the most important navigation
27. 3:57tool the most important navigation tool how do you think about that hmm no one
28. 4:13took another deep breath for that one remember the quote told y'all mom I'm
29. 4:35poor they didn't even know it in my first ever novel once upon a time yes
30. 4:43once upon a time by Stephen D Jackson check that out wherever you find your
31. 4:51books it's a e-book and then I believe it's an audio audio book and also the
32. 4:59paperback that's it definitely support me in that arena my first novel after
33. 5:08that it came out with a bunch of poetry books ebooks so if you like poetry I
34. 5:16have some about life in general and the struggles and challenges and the
35. 5:21pain and how to overcome that and then also a series of love forms which was
36. 5:32inspired back in the day but I had to decide on what I wanted to write decide
37. 5:44on what I wanted to put in a book decide on how I wanted to express
38. 5:51myself to the world you know I had to go deep within and sometimes you have
39. 5:59to really take that quiet time I spoke about it in a previous episode go
40. 6:03back and check it out how a quiet time is important you know that meditation
41. 6:11that silence being in your head being your thoughts being in your mind to
42. 6:17really figure out what is the best decision for you this isn't decision
43. 6:24making is a skill I'm sorry it is a great skill you need to practice and
44. 6:34otherwise you you might make the wrong decision and wrong decisions lead you
45. 6:41to bad places and bad direction leads you to who knows you what but we want
46. 6:48to focus on the positive and continue to have great decisions really sit
47. 6:55down and write and map out you know what's in your head what's sweet what's
48. 7:01your thoughts and really hone in on it focus but again I didn't want it to be
49. 7:11long-winded today I'm tired but wanted to still push through and yeah
50. 7:19hit record and I promise I'll be back in my energetic self in the next
51. 7:27episode but I am tired y'all I've been up almost two days straight but I made
52. 7:39that decision too so whose fault is that mine but it was all worth it and
53. 7:47it was a good energy and you know everything I was doing is positive so
54. 7:51and really making an impact for something you know major bar a few
55. 7:56things that are making an impact so it's multiple things that's the reason
56. 8:02I've been up for two days so I don't want to tuck your ears off today and
57. 8:09yeah I feel like the words are not coming out the way that I really want
58. 8:14to but you could always tune in follow subscribe do all that good
