  1. 0:00Welcome, welcome, welcome, welcome to Alienize Photos in the Street Talk.
  2. 0:10I am your host, photographer Jackson, and I am in a beautiful space here, 216 Cleveland.
  3. 0:24I saw it on the clock so I had to say it, I had to do it, and it's true, I'm here
  4. 0:28in Cleveland, Ohio, born and raised, and just feeling good.
  5. 0:36I had to do a little self-reflection, self-analysis, get myself together, because I felt in this
  6. 0:48hump, and I just couldn't get over the hump, you know, starting doubting myself
  7. 0:56and, you know, just listening to the naysayers and the outside and letting it affect me,
  8. 1:08affect my greatness, affect my journey, affect my purpose, affect my experiences, affect
  9. 1:15my thoughts, and they say when you do not have control over your thoughts, you become
  10. 1:24a slave to it.
  11. 1:27So that means I was becoming a slave to other people's thoughts, not doing what I was
  12. 1:37supposed to do, being who I was supposed to be.
  13. 1:42I let it affect my personal life, my business, my growth, and, you know, children are
  14. 1:54out of school for the summer, so it's affecting my kids, because they're around
  15. 1:59me a lot more, versus when they are in school, nieces, nephews, it's affecting the youth.
  16. 2:13So I had to check myself, get myself in line, speak with some close people to get
  17. 2:23me back on track, and that's the beauty of just speaking to others, communicating,
  18. 2:32hearing other people's experiences and thoughts, people that know you better than they may
  19. 2:38see how you look in the mirror and point out something that you never seen before.
  20. 2:48Like, do you know you got this greatness inside you?
  21. 2:51Every time you walk in a room, people turn their heads and just look at you,
  22. 2:56gravitate towards your energy, your aura, your presence.
  23. 3:01You shift the energy in the room.
  24. 3:06Do you remember who you are?
  25. 3:09What are you talking about, dude?
  26. 3:13And all you need is that little wake-up call sometimes, reminders, and it's good to set
  27. 3:22those reminders on our phones, but what about reminders in our real life, our reality?
  28. 3:29People who mean so dear and close to us, people so dear and close to us, and I just
  29. 3:40think about what I'm doing now, podcasting, interviewing.
  30. 3:48If I knew all of that now, I would have got to interview with them.
  31. 3:57People that mean so much and dear to my heart, who means a lot to me.
  32. 4:04Family members, friends, old business partners, but they're not here to have that interview.
  33. 4:18So me not having it back then, when I had that chance to speak to a loved one, someone
  34. 4:28that means so much and dear to my heart, my life, my existence, my family's existence,
  35. 4:35my friends' existence, business' existence, or whatever the case, I didn't get that chance,
  36. 4:45and I don't have that chance.
  37. 4:49So it's important for me to have these conversations with people that I feel dear
  38. 4:55and grateful in my life, that I appreciate.
  39. 5:02It's important for me to have these conversations and share light and also learn from each
  40. 5:10other, let the world learn from us, our journey, our mistakes, our lessons, our
  41. 5:19growth, our passion, our wins, our elevation, our collaboration, our inspiration, our purpose,
  42. 5:32everything that we do, everything that we know you can do.
  43. 5:40We all excel and motivate and uplift each other.
  44. 5:46And it's important to do that. It's important to have these conversations.
  45. 5:53I know you can hear it in my voice. It's the passion.
  46. 5:58And that is why I take every interview serious.
  47. 6:04We may spend almost a half a day, 12 hours.
  48. 6:14That's why I say we might have to block off a full day.
  49. 6:18I don't have no time restrictions.
  50. 6:21Hey, we have to break this up into like five, six episodes because it's so long.
  51. 6:29We're going to do that.
  52. 6:31But I don't want to rush. I don't want to force.
  53. 6:34Most of my conversations are like an hour and a half, two hours average right now.
  54. 6:41But there's times where I know it'll went like six hours if I didn't just stop it,
  55. 6:48wrap it up, you know?
  56. 6:51And I also don't want to make it too long for the audience.
  57. 6:55But I also don't want to not have that information, those conversations,
  58. 7:02those important journeys, gems, lessons, the growth, the wins.
  59. 7:13You know, it's good.
  60. 7:16And it's good to express that all.
  61. 7:19It's like, damn, man, we finally got a chance to catch up and talk, man.
  62. 7:24Let's just talk, man. Let's talk.
  63. 7:32So with that being said, you really can't put limits on things.
  64. 7:40And sometimes you have to do it without preparing, do it without planning.
  65. 7:47Just go with the flow.
  66. 7:50Sometimes you have to do it without a script.
  67. 7:54Oh, I didn't have a time to write the script.
  68. 7:56I didn't have a time to prepare.
  69. 7:58Well, you know who you are.
  70. 8:00You know what you do. You know what your purpose is.
  71. 8:02You know this.
  72. 8:04Just go with the flow.
  73. 8:06You didn't have time to practice, but you showed up.
  74. 8:08That's what matters.
  75. 8:10You showed up.
  76. 8:12And that's also something that I had to remember that I was still showing up,
  77. 8:17no matter how I felt, how I took it, how I felt in this negative slump.
  78. 8:27I still showed up.
  79. 8:32Tired, drained.
  80. 8:36I knew I wasn't in my energetic self.
  81. 8:39And I feel it finally coming back, y'all.
  82. 8:43I'm back.
  83. 8:46And I just want to pass that motivation,
  84. 8:51quick tidbits while it was on my heart.
  85. 8:54And I felt so grateful and back in myself.
  86. 8:58Day one, this is day one of my shift.
  87. 9:01And I just wanted to give that to you.
  88. 9:02For that electricity.
  89. 9:04Fire y'all up, because this fired me up.
  90. 9:07I'm back.
  91. 9:09Now I can do the work that I'm used to doing.
  92. 9:12High level.
  93. 9:14Coaching, consulting, performing at a high level.
  94. 9:21I'm ready.
  95. 9:23And I want you to be just as ready as I am.
  96. 9:29Feel what I'm feeling.
  97. 9:31The passion.
  98. 9:33The purpose.
  99. 9:36Blend it together.
  100. 9:42But just be ready for the interviews.
  101. 9:52I'm telling y'all.
  102. 9:54It's a lot that's on the way.
  103. 10:00I'm excited.
  104. 10:03Trying to relax and calm down.
  105. 10:06But the passion is still there.
  106. 10:09I'm fired up.
  107. 10:10So with that being said, I got to get to work.
  108. 10:16I got to put in the work.
  109. 10:18I have a lot to do.
  110. 10:25And it's Father's Day, y'all.
  111. 10:30It's Father's Day.
  112. 10:34Probably not going to release this on Father's Day, but it's Father's Day.
  113. 10:40You know, my daughter asked me.
  114. 10:43She said, daddy, what you want for Father's Day?
  115. 10:51And I said, a day off.
  116. 10:55Just relax and do nothing.
  117. 10:56And I actually have the opportunity to do that.
  118. 11:03But I'm still getting to work.
  119. 11:07So do I really know how to relax?
  120. 11:11Huh.
  121. 11:12Well, I'm going to try, y'all.
  122. 11:13But let me get to work.
  123. 11:15At least so I can relax for the rest of the day.
  124. 11:19While I can.
  125. 11:20I definitely got a busy week coming into next week.
  126. 11:24And then a wedding coming up the following week.
  127. 11:26So it's a lot of preparation.
  128. 11:29It's a lot of things to get back done.
  129. 11:31Now I'm feeling like myself again.
  130. 11:34So I'm going to leverage that.
  131. 11:36Keep that momentum going.
  132. 11:38Hopefully I don't feel like I felt this past week.
  133. 11:43I'm shutting off the week.
  134. 11:46Spreading my wings, sun shining.
  135. 11:49And ready to get to grind mode.
  136. 11:55I was going to say work, but I'm saying I'm getting tired of saying work grind mode.
  137. 11:59I'm going to think of a better word.
  138. 12:01So many.
