  1. 0:01Welcome, welcome, welcome, welcome to Alienize Photos Industry Talk with your host photographer
  2. 0:11Jackson.
  3. 0:12And I'm here in Atlanta, August 7th, 2025, day one of Podcast Summit 2025.
  4. 0:22Y'all see how that rhyme?
  5. 0:24Yes, yes.
  6. 0:24But just to open up the day, Wall Street Trapper, and by the way, I'm outside.
  7. 0:30So if you hear all type of noises and car rides and random voices yelling, I'm outside.
  8. 0:36This is organic.
  9. 0:38Here in Atlanta.
  10. 0:40But yeah, Wall Street Trapper, he opened it up with the energy, the energy, the energy,
  11. 0:46the motivation.
  12. 0:48Like he told us in order to learn, you need to be in a relaxed state.
  13. 0:54Like that is true.
  14. 0:55You know, studying meditation and Buddhism.
  15. 0:58That is true.
  16. 1:00You learn best when you're in a relaxed state.
  17. 1:02That's the only way you learn because you're riled up and you're mad, you know.
  18. 1:08The wavelength is shorter, and even your mind is, the intention span is short.
  19. 1:14So that's just something to think about.
  20. 1:18And then he also spoke about what are you really good at?
  21. 1:23What are you good at?
  22. 1:25What are you good at?
  23. 1:30So everybody that's good at multiple things.
  24. 1:35Pick one thing that you're really good at.
  25. 1:38One thing and just stick with it.
  26. 1:42Surrender your voice to God and be blessed like never before.
  27. 1:50You know, when he said that, the whole room just erupted.
  28. 1:59You know, and first you start by surrendering.
  29. 2:05That's about what you experience.
  30. 2:09And don't worry about being the number one show.
  31. 2:12Focus on the best show you can produce.
  32. 2:19That's like the icing on the cake, you know.
  33. 2:23And he left it off with how you start is not going to be the way you finish.
  34. 2:31You know, take that how you take it, but let it be in the correct manner.
  35. 2:39You know, there was a lot more things discussed.
  36. 2:41Of course, I don't want to spill all the tea, you know, catch the replays
  37. 2:45about a podcast, some of the replays.
  38. 2:49But, you know, these are some good thoughts that I came across.
  39. 2:56And then Ernestine Morris interviewed Kev on stage,
  40. 3:01you know, out the gate.
  41. 3:04Kev, you know, mentioned he associated himself with good times.
  42. 3:12You know, so he associates yourself with good in general.
  43. 3:16Good spirit, good times, good moments, good experiences, good outcomes.
  44. 3:24And if everyone that has a podcast or into media,
  45. 3:29media tracks, advertisers, point blank simple, and everything you do
  46. 3:34is not going to be perfect.
  47. 3:38When he also has a new book out.
  48. 3:43Successful.
  49. 3:46Successful failures.
  50. 3:49I was going to be funny with him, I know, you know,
  51. 3:51because Kev on stage is a funny guy.
  52. 3:55Mr. Kevin, yeah.
  53. 3:57But yes, successful failures.
  54. 3:59I'm a definitely get that book.
  55. 4:02Check it out.
  56. 4:03Maybe here's some reviews on it on a podcast.
  57. 4:07So, yeah, I look forward to that.
  58. 4:11And then CJ came on stage and surprisingly introduced E.T.,
  59. 4:20Mr. Eric Thomas, his right hand.
  60. 4:24And, wow, they both.
  61. 4:27Even CJ said E.T. told them stop having sex.
  62. 4:32Yes, stop having sex.
  63. 4:36Yeah, well, let's just continue.
  64. 4:45But I get it.
  65. 4:47And I heard other like millionaires and billionaires say that,
  66. 4:51like one point, you know, they cut themselves off and,
  67. 4:56you know, no sexual activity or no porn or masturbation for two years.
  68. 5:03You know, and that's a powerful thing to do, really.
  69. 5:07It really, really is.
  70. 5:09You know, your focus, you know, clarity, energy,
  71. 5:16the purity, the spirit is just pure, you know, clean.
  72. 5:23And it's good, especially with the right person,
  73. 5:26only with the right person, you know.
  74. 5:29Can't just be out here with any and everybody.
  75. 5:33That was the biggest message from not having sex.
  76. 5:37But if you're going to do it, you know, stay faithful, stay loyal.
  77. 5:42That's the only powerful thing to do, really.
  78. 5:45And to protect yourself and your spirit.
  79. 5:50And, oh, man, E.T., wow.
  80. 5:56The I am, I will, I can.
  81. 6:00Man, hearing that live,
  82. 6:04it's a whole nother energy.
  83. 6:07And focus where your energy flows.
  84. 6:10And the focus goes where energy flows.
  85. 6:13So be mindful what you're doing, what you're focused on,
  86. 6:17even what you spend your time and energy on.
  87. 6:25And then I had Mr. David Shands come out.
  88. 6:29Oh, I didn't have him come out, but he came out finally.
  89. 6:33I'm like, wow.
  90. 6:36We haven't seen Mr. Shands, the hostess with the mostess.
  91. 6:43We haven't seen him all day.
  92. 6:46Yeah, David Shands, you know, he broke down the history of a radio
  93. 6:51and how we got to podcast and why a podcast is needed.
  94. 6:58It's becoming popular.
  95. 6:59I was going to say popular, but it's becoming popular
  96. 7:01and even more popular.
  97. 7:03And he suggests everyone should have a podcast.
  98. 7:08And I remember with the Pull Up Experience
  99. 7:11at the Futureland Conference, our topic was
  100. 7:15every business should have a podcast.
  101. 7:18And if you want us to run that back, we definitely can.
  102. 7:22But yes, every business should have a podcast.
  103. 7:26And it's my biggest marketing piece in my business.
  104. 7:30You know, it creates content, it's engaging.
  105. 7:33I'm building relationships.
  106. 7:35So it's so many factors.
  107. 7:37You know, I'm attracting advertisers and sponsors.
  108. 7:41So it, like I said, it's going to be loud.
  109. 7:45I'm outside here at ATL, day one of ATL Georgia.
  110. 7:52I'll make sure I'm specific, but, you know,
  111. 7:55people should know.
  112. 7:57Yeah, here day one podcast summit 2025.
  113. 8:01Outside is loud, it's bright.
  114. 8:05And I've got multiple cameras running.
  115. 8:07So you may see different content on different things.
  116. 8:11But, yeah, it's mainly the audio for right now.
  117. 8:14So I'm pretty, you know, cool, calm, collected.
  118. 8:19And back to where Wall Street says, you know, to learn.
  119. 8:24You got to be in a relaxed state.
  120. 8:27So what happened when you teach?
  121. 8:29Teach from that relaxed state.
  122. 8:31And that's something more and more
  123. 8:35I want to continue getting better at.
  124. 8:37I know I do, but, you know, consistently
  125. 8:40and even more deeply, I just want
  126. 8:44to be more relaxed in, like, everything I do.
  127. 8:49I know how I am now, you know, cool, calm,
  128. 8:52collected, laid back.
  129. 8:54It's scary for a lot of people, you know,
  130. 8:57they don't know how to take it.
  131. 9:00But I want to become even more relaxed,
  132. 9:02more relaxed, laid back, chill, you know.
  133. 9:07I still got that dynamic side of me,
  134. 9:09but for the most part, I think I'm gonna just be cool.
  135. 9:19I'm adjusting this camera, y'all, one second,
  136. 9:22but yeah, okay, okay, nice and adjusted.
  137. 9:28But some things David Shands spoke on.
  138. 9:33Consistency creates separation.
  139. 9:38Consistency creates separation.
  140. 9:42Because if nobody else is doing it,
  141. 9:45you're already separating yourself from the rest.
  142. 9:49He also said, keep going, keep going.
  143. 9:56And he said, the first 53 episodes of his podcast,
  144. 10:04no traction, not many views, little to no views for some.
  145. 10:14And the number 54 was actually with Wall Street Trapper
  146. 10:18on the Social Proof Podcast.
  147. 10:24And going back to that consistency,
  148. 10:28which, you know, back to my team,
  149. 10:30the pull-up experience, that's one thing we have
  150. 10:34over everybody in Cleveland.
  151. 10:36We're consistent, very consistent.
  152. 10:39At one point, we were recording eight shows a week,
  153. 10:44eight shows a week, not every week,
  154. 10:47but six to eight shows a week.
  155. 10:51That's three days, sometimes a random day.
  156. 10:57Well, yeah, Tuesday's our day.
  157. 10:59If anybody wanna get on the podcast,
  158. 11:01we do every other Tuesday.
  159. 11:02We're pretty booked out, you know, most of the year,
  160. 11:06most years, we're almost booked the full year in advance.
  161. 11:12So when people try to get on, it's not a gimmick.
  162. 11:15And, you know, the waiting time is the waiting time
  163. 11:17because we have a waiting list, you know?
  164. 11:21So everybody be wanting me to get them on a podcast.
  165. 11:24This is another outlet, me starting Alienize Photos
  166. 11:30to give those others an outlet, a platform.
  167. 11:35And then we could still get on a pull-up experience,
  168. 11:38but like I said, it's a wait.
  169. 11:40But we also had the honor to have Mr. David Shands
  170. 11:44on a pull-up experience podcast.
  171. 11:48And man, y'all, hey, check it out.
  172. 11:51200, that was that, hey.
  173. 11:54We can't thank you enough, Mr. David Shands,
  174. 11:56all you do, and yes, thank you.
  175. 11:59You encouraged me to start the podcast.
  176. 12:05Yes, Alienize Photos Industry Talk podcast, we are here.
  177. 12:09Yes, thank you.
  178. 12:11And then I met Sean Stevenson.
  179. 12:18This is breaking down the different ways to monetize.
  180. 12:26And let's just start with sponsorships.
  181. 12:30Who wants to be a sponsor on the podcast?
  182. 12:35Alienize Photos Industry Talk, where we talk business
  183. 12:39and I preach about my entrepreneurial journey
  184. 12:41like I am doing right now.
  185. 12:44I am mainly an event photographer, business coach,
  186. 12:48where I hold ideation sessions
  187. 12:50to help build your strategy and marketing
  188. 12:53in your vision.
  189. 12:55I elevate positive voices in all I do
  190. 13:00with my visual media and also with my podcast.
  191. 13:10Yeah, I'm leaving all that in there, by the way,
  192. 13:13all the motorcycles.
  193. 13:15I'm leaving all that in there, y'all.
  194. 13:18The background noise, the motorcycles.
  195. 13:23Hey, hey, hey, I'm not gonna monetize this episode anyway,
  196. 13:30so any copyrights, any music that's played in this,
  197. 13:33it's not by me at all.
  198. 13:36I have no rights to none of the music in this video.
  199. 13:42So, shh.
  200. 13:45But yeah, I'm leaving background noise in it,
  201. 13:47but yeah, Shawn Stevenson.
  202. 13:52Sponsorships.
  203. 13:55I know it may be like a no thought or a low thought
  204. 14:01that, oh yeah, why not get sponsorships,
  205. 14:05but sponsorships for events, conferences,
  206. 14:11podcasts, get brands, just, man.
  207. 14:18Don't be afraid to reach out.
  208. 14:19That's all I'm gonna say about that.
  209. 14:22And then also, have a product, have a course,
  210. 14:27have an ebook, a physical item.
  211. 14:31Something to think about if you want to help
  212. 14:34drive revenue from your podcast into your podcast.
  213. 14:41And I'll leave you one more nugget that he kinda,
  214. 14:45I don't say kinda, well, he mentioned
  215. 14:49don't be afraid to take equity.
  216. 14:52You know, that's another, you know.
  217. 14:55Get 2% of this new item, this new fad,
  218. 15:00this new gadget, this new software.
  219. 15:04Why not get 2%, 5%?
  220. 15:07You don't always gotta do a flat rate or,
  221. 15:11you know, big lump sums.
  222. 15:14Don't be afraid to take that equity.
  223. 15:19I think next was a panel.
  224. 15:23Yes, yes, yes, it was a panel with, let me see,
  225. 15:28Ebony Porter, Ike, Mr. Vaughn, Dan Jeter,
  226. 15:35Danielle Jeter, like the football,
  227. 15:38baseball player, I'm gonna say football.
  228. 15:41Freshy and Mercedes Smith, Vaughn Alvarez.
  229. 15:50They're basically, you know, in a PR,
  230. 15:53public relations, press release.
  231. 15:58Kinda got a hint at a budget.
  232. 16:02If you want that big, you know, great press release,
  233. 16:08tight vibe to push you like they push celebrities.
  234. 16:1215,000 is kinda where
  235. 16:16the touch point was, you know,
  236. 16:20because the more you pay them,
  237. 16:22the more hours and the more effort
  238. 16:25and resources they could put in.
  239. 16:27But if they have a smaller budget,
  240. 16:28it's not really gonna cover their time.
  241. 16:31So think about that when you're reaching out
  242. 16:33to PR services and, you know, PR reps.
  243. 16:38And for these press releases, you know,
  244. 16:42make it a campaign, six months, a year,
  245. 16:47you know, and gradually roll it out.
  246. 16:52And another thing they spoke on that was big
  247. 16:56and important was call to action.
  248. 16:59Always, always, always have a call to action.
  249. 17:04And the most important thing
  250. 17:05about a press release is the story.
  251. 17:08So make sure your story is right,
  252. 17:10it's compelling, it's vivid, it's nice.
  253. 17:14Hey, make it truthful for real.
  254. 17:19And then one of my new favorite people,
  255. 17:21Miss Alicia Little, who may seen her
  256. 17:26on Neal Maya's, Neal Maya Davis podcast.
  257. 17:33I know you've probably seen her on
  258. 17:35Earn Your Leisure podcast.
  259. 17:38I've seen her on quite a few different podcasts
  260. 17:42and networks as she continues to grow.
  261. 17:45And I love that for her.
  262. 17:53One of the things she preached on that I enjoy was
  263. 17:58just teach your AI, you know, your style and your tone,
  264. 18:03teach it you if you want it to be you and more like you.
  265. 18:11And yeah, she spoke on some stuff she happened to work
  266. 18:15even for, you know, podcasters and, you know,
  267. 18:20how she's leveraging AI to help make these resources
  268. 18:25and tools for podcasters.
  269. 18:28So I'm definitely gonna check that out
  270. 18:30and see how we can collaborate because, you know,
  271. 18:34that's my network, that's my, you know, community podcast
  272. 18:40and especially, you know, with the network
  273. 18:43or the pull-up experience.
  274. 18:45And, you know, people come up to us for tips
  275. 18:49and insights and education.
  276. 18:51And, you know, we're actually slacking with coming out
  277. 18:54with our courses or our education.
  278. 18:56We have some eBooks, but, you know,
  279. 19:00we have a lot of things in the work
  280. 19:02and it's just like the things we should focus on
  281. 19:06and, you know, getting pulled in many directions,
  282. 19:09you know, always got a collaboration on a table
  283. 19:12and that's good.
  284. 19:14And a lot of these things is gonna take time,
  285. 19:18but yeah, I think this next sit down with the team
  286. 19:21is gonna be a good one.
  287. 19:24Cause yeah, maybe we need to hire Mr. Alicia Little
  288. 19:28as a coach.
  289. 19:30And then I ended the day with Davis Shands
  290. 19:38interviewing a rep from Go High Level.
  291. 19:40I think he's the owner, but don't quote me on that.
  292. 19:45But, you know, one thing he was speaking on
  293. 19:48is don't be afraid to cold call.
  294. 19:51Pick up the phone and make that call.
  295. 19:55And wow, that's, where more can you say?
  296. 20:02Sometimes the loose tracker will work or would.
  297. 20:08We haven't tried before, you know.
  298. 20:11Have a presentation, have it ready.
  299. 20:16Don't be afraid to pitch your products
  300. 20:18and services at events.
  301. 20:20So those were some of the nuggets.
  302. 20:24No pun intended on that.
  303. 20:29Me and Lady B, AKA Brie, Anna from Overflow Studio
  304. 20:35and Creative Frequency and also the Pull Up Experience.
  305. 20:39And, you know, she do some BTS
  306. 20:40with Alienize Photos, Industry Talk
  307. 20:43and Alienize Photos in general, you know.
  308. 20:46We're definitely partners in this
  309. 20:48and, you know, I couldn't have a better life partner
  310. 20:51in this moment in my life.
  311. 20:52So, you know, I'm definitely appreciative.
  312. 20:55I definitely want to send gratitude to that
  313. 20:58as we're here at Podcast Summit 2025 here in Atlanta.
  314. 21:03And I know she probably waiting for me to wrap up
  315. 21:07so we can finish this other recording
  316. 21:08and do some work with me.
  317. 21:10If you haven't checked out our work with we,
  318. 21:14work with we.
  319. 21:15www.workwithwe.creativefrequency.
  320. 21:18Yeah, we about to start dropping a lot of content
  321. 21:21and we've been sitting on the live.
  322. 21:23We've been like, oh, it ain't perfect.
  323. 21:25Oh, we didn't edit it.
  324. 21:27Oh, we didn't color grade it.
  325. 21:28Oh, it ain't finished yet.
  326. 21:30I'm like, just drop it.
  327. 21:31Let's just give it to the people, you know.
  328. 21:34You never know who this may encourage
  329. 21:36or what couple, you know, like,
  330. 21:37oh, well, we should do something together.
  331. 21:39They're doing something.
  332. 21:40I like them.
  333. 21:41They got good chemistry.
  334. 21:43Like we're introverts.
  335. 21:45So, you know, our way of speaking
  336. 21:48and giving back is to the camera.
  337. 21:50You know, this is what we love.
  338. 21:52We're multi-creative geniuses.
  339. 21:57Like, I don't think I should be saying this,
  340. 22:03but just wait till we drop some music.
  341. 22:08I'm sorry on the audio.
  342. 22:10I dropped it on the behind the scenes of the camera.
  343. 22:14I guess it's like a vlog now.
  344. 22:15This is a vlog.
  345. 22:17I'm gonna call it a vlog.
  346. 22:20Yeah.
  347. 22:21So I'm recording live on alienized photos,
  348. 22:27industry talk outside here in Atlanta, Georgia.
  349. 22:31Just wrapped up day one of the podcast summit 2025.
  350. 22:40And yeah, I think that was all the nuggets
  351. 22:43from the interview with David Shands and Go High Level.
  352. 22:51Or High Level, but everybody know it as Go High Level.
  353. 22:56I think we were pretty much checked out at the time
  354. 22:59because we were ordering food and we didn't drive.
  355. 23:04So, you know, our flight, you know,
  356. 23:10it was like, it was about the same price as our Uber.
  357. 23:12So we were kind of doing some calculations
  358. 23:14and where we were gonna eat at or should we sit down?
  359. 23:17Should we pick up?
  360. 23:19And we ended up finding something, you know,
  361. 23:22less than a mile.
  362. 23:22So we ended up walking and yeah,
  363. 23:27they left my tater tots out.
  364. 23:32They left my tater tots out.
  365. 23:38And anybody that know me knows I'm a potato head.
  366. 23:41You know, I just turned this into a vlog.
  367. 23:44So sorry, especially on the audio.
  368. 23:46I know you can't see this.
  369. 23:47You have to check the vlog out, the behind the scenes.
  370. 23:51Cause you know, I don't do much video.
  371. 23:53So when you get the video, you're gonna be like,
  372. 23:54yeah, okay, we want more.
  373. 23:57Maybe you get more, maybe.
  374. 23:59But, you know, I'm gonna relax.
  375. 24:01I'm chilling, I'm tired,
  376. 24:02but I definitely want to push through, create.
  377. 24:06I might drop this tonight, unedited, whatever,
  378. 24:09you know, I'm creating.
  379. 24:12And yeah, but shout out to that restaurant.
  380. 24:17You know, it was still good.
  381. 24:20And I just, I just, I just count that as a tip
  382. 24:22towards the tip, it's cool.
  383. 24:24They left the tater tots out, but it's all good.
  384. 24:30I know good karma is in the universe for me.
  385. 24:35I'm gonna get a lifetime supply of tater tots.
  386. 24:39I don't know.
  387. 24:41Maybe I might invest in potatoes.
  388. 24:44I don't know.
  389. 24:45All right, at that point I'm just rambling,
  390. 24:47but yeah, stay, stay tuned.
  391. 24:49I might, I might do this tomorrow
  392. 24:50as we wrap up podcast summit with day two.
  393. 24:54So yeah, I'll do this tomorrow for y'all.
  394. 24:57So if you like this, excuse me,

  405. 25:30That's what I love.
  406. 25:31That's what I'm passionate about.
  407. 25:33That's where I love connecting with people.
  408. 25:36It's nothing like a good event and that has impact.
  409. 25:41When I get to document it,
  410. 25:43there's nothing better than that to me.
  411. 25:48And I provide quality and I have a good team behind me.
  412. 25:53You know, I'm blessed for everyone that worked with us,

  416. 26:06bit, bit-ographers, bit-ographers.
  417. 26:08I know I probably butchered that word,
  418. 26:11but you know, media producers,

  430. 26:59that's what happened.
  431. 27:01But it's all good because
  432. 27:02that's what backup mics are for.
  433. 27:05Always have backups, that's my rule.
  434. 27:09Except if you're in a relationship,
  435. 27:11then you just gotta stick it out and work it out.

  437. 27:16in business, have backup, backup computers, backup.
  438. 27:19In my, you know, media space,

  441. 27:28Backup clothes sometimes, you know?
  442. 27:30People may spill water or something or drink
  443. 27:33on your clothes or you may do it
  444. 27:35or eat something saucy and you spilt it on ya.
  445. 27:39Yeah, you're good clothes.
