  1. 0:01Welcome, welcome, welcome, welcome back to Alienize Photos Industry Talk.
  2. 0:11Man, I'm here with my brother, my great brother, great musician.
  3. 0:15I call you the Dr. Dre of Cleveland.
  4. 0:19Man, wow, that's an honor.
  5. 0:22Yes, yes, man, my brother, man. I'm glad to finally have you all.
  6. 0:26And we were just chatting, and we was like, man, let's just press record.
  7. 0:32And what was the question you were asking more so about music?
  8. 0:38As I kind of tease on the podcast a lot.
  9. 0:41Back in my ancient days of music and poetry and this.
  10. 0:46He made some bangers for me.
  11. 0:48The ones he made, I don't think I ever released though.
  12. 0:51That's crazy.
  13. 0:52I know that's wild.
  14. 0:54Like the craziest part is that, you know, like when I first met you,
  15. 1:00you was out there as a musician more so even as a poet, you know, more so on the forefront.
  16. 1:06And so the question I have for you was like, how did you transition to being more so interested
  17. 1:14or even more invested in behind the scenes work or even the business aspect, administrative aspect of things
  18. 1:24and still kind of like balance and still being even still on the forefront, even as a podcast.
  19. 1:34Man, that's great.
  20. 1:35So I know a lot of people know me as that, you know, business, business mind of God, which is true.
  21. 1:47But actually say no, I am I'm a creative first.
  22. 1:54And then, of course, there's business to it.
  23. 1:58So, but it's just more so understanding business more like I always been business minded, always, you know,
  24. 2:09picture money in my life, success in my life, leadership in my life, you know, surrounding those things,
  25. 2:15yourself around those things and, you know, of course, love, self-love first.
  26. 2:21You know, that's the biggest thing.
  27. 2:24So, you know, that's what I lead with and creativity, being creative.
  28. 2:30That's like the number one thing.
  29. 2:32If I could do anything, it'd be, you know, had a money for being creative.
  30. 2:37But, you know, you got to make the money.
  31. 2:40So, of course, I add the business to it and it becomes fun.
  32. 2:44So I have my I have my moments.
  33. 2:46You know, sometimes I may be just straight business, you know, creating strategies, creating offers,
  34. 2:52creating this, creating that, but it's still creating.
  35. 2:57But it's more business than actually freely creating.
  36. 3:02This is the difference between freely creating and, you know, creating for business and through business.
  37. 3:09Right. That's what's up.
  38. 3:10You know, and that's beautiful.
  39. 3:11Like, you know, it almost seems like you are balancing two sides of your brain in a way.
  40. 3:19Like, you know, so how do you like is there a side of your, you know, creativity that you like more?
  41. 3:26Is there, you know, because I think I even also ask you this and you can even, you know, answer this as far as are you more introverted or extroverted?
  42. 3:39I am more introverted.
  43. 3:45Intro. Yeah.
  44. 3:47Internal. Yeah.
  45. 3:50Hence the, you know, the tag phrase that a podcast is introspective business podcast like getting inside the business of different industries.
  46. 4:02But yeah, I am an introvert.
  47. 4:13You know, I grew up to myself.
  48. 4:15I have siblings, but for most part, I was to myself doing my own things in my own world, creating, playing games at the time.
  49. 4:27I had to retire that, you know, just like I did with music.
  50. 4:30We're going to touch on that too.
  51. 4:32I know you.
  52. 4:34Yeah.
  53. 4:36Hey, we worked together for, you know, had like a four year run before I hung it up, man.
  54. 4:42Oh, my goodness.
  55. 4:44He is not.
  56. 4:45He say he retiring, y'all.
  57. 4:46He is not.
  58. 4:47Not if I'm around.
  59. 4:48Trust me.
  60. 4:50He gonna get on the track.
  61. 4:51I'm retired.
  62. 4:52Yeah.
  63. 4:53Yeah.
  64. 4:53We see.
  65. 4:54You got too much, you know, talent, I would think to me personally, or I think you to just retire musically.
  66. 5:01You know what I'm saying?
  67. 5:02I think if you was, you honestly do yourself a disservice.
  68. 5:06That's just my personal, you know, if you did not at least dibble and dabble, even if it's, you know, every four years or something like that.
  69. 5:14And that's just me.
  70. 5:15Every four years.
  71. 5:16I can do that.
  72. 5:17Every four.
  73. 5:18I just challenge you every, at least every four years.
  74. 5:20I give you grace and I ain't gonna pressure you.
  75. 5:23None of them four years.
  76. 5:24The first three years, I ain't gonna say nothing.
  77. 5:27But once that fourth year come, I'm coming.
  78. 5:29And I'm like, yo, what you want to do, man?
  79. 5:33Hey, y'all want to hear a new record?
  80. 5:38Should we just?
  81. 5:39I'll say what we should.
  82. 5:41I'll say why not.
  83. 5:42Come up with something fresh.
  84. 5:43Right now, right here, right now while we on the spot?
  85. 5:46Nah, we gonna, we gonna, we gonna build it out.
  86. 5:49We gonna, yeah, we gonna build it out.
  87. 5:52We gonna build it out?
  88. 5:53We just, we about to just, we gonna rock out with something or we gonna just, hold on.
  89. 5:59Nah, we gonna build it out after the fact.
  90. 6:01Okay, I got you.
  91. 6:02Because yeah, we gonna.
  92. 6:04Yeah.
  93. 6:04Yeah, because if I'm gonna come back and this the, yeah, we gonna have to.
  94. 6:09Okay, I was about to say.
  95. 6:11We can make that look, but yeah, just let me know, man.
  96. 6:14They gonna turn to the eye, but I already know how it go.
  97. 6:18Yeah.
  98. 6:18But yeah, it may happen.
  99. 6:21Yeah, no, we don't got much time.
  100. 6:23We both got things.
  101. 6:24You got a show tonight, too.
  102. 6:26Oh, yeah, yeah.
  103. 6:27What up, man?
  104. 6:28I'm actually having a show tonight with my brother, Honesty Blade.
  105. 6:32Yeah, she has good brothers.
  106. 6:33Good, yeah.
  107. 6:34Great MC, man.
  108. 6:36Great MC, yeah.
  109. 6:38Great talented hip hop artist all the way around, man.
  110. 6:41And he got a show with Jack the Ripper, DJ Jack the Ripper.
  111. 6:45Jack the Ripper.
  112. 6:46Yeah, Jack the Ripper, man.
  113. 6:49And so at 7 o'clock at the B-side, it's going down tonight.
  114. 6:54So anybody that's hearing this, if you are available.
  115. 6:57Yeah, I know it's in about an hour and a half, but.
  116. 7:00Oh, you want me to drop this today?
  117. 7:02You have to drop this immediately.
  118. 7:05Immediately.
  119. 7:05But, you know, at the time of this, you know, of course you couldn't make it.
  120. 7:09But the point is, is that hip hop, it's a lot of hip hop things.
  121. 7:13You know, the hip hop scene, I think, is about to start to expand.
  122. 7:16And I think that we got a lot of hitters deep down in the underground.
  123. 7:20That's ready to come out to the forefront and ready to, you know, showcase real lyricism, real rap.
  124. 7:27You know, and we bringing it back.
  125. 7:28You know what I'm saying?
  126. 7:30So I'm going to just say that.
  127. 7:31Hey, but whenever you listen into this, man, you know, strangers to the B-side.
  128. 7:38So, you know, come out one of these days to the B-side, support the B-side and all they do.
  129. 7:44Yeah, especially on the hip hop side.
  130. 7:47Yeah, I think all the Coventry is like real hip hop.
  131. 7:51You know, like the foundation of like, I would say, Cleveland, like hip hop right now.
  132. 7:57You know what I'm saying?
  133. 7:58I would give it that, you know, it's right where like, you know, it's a lot of different, you know,
  134. 8:04cubby holes, but I think Coventry is, you know, at this moment right now,
  135. 8:09like representing real hard for the hip hop scene right now in Cleveland.
  136. 8:13I'm going to just let you know right now.
  137. 8:14I would say B-side, you know, the grog shop, you know,
  138. 8:17it's a couple of different, you know, other things that be going down, you know, around the area.
  139. 8:24So B-side is definitely just in and of itself a staple just for not only just hip hop culture,
  140. 8:29but just Cleveland, you know, soul music culture, you know what I mean?
  141. 8:35So that's what I believe.
  142. 8:38So it keeps the heart pumping.
  143. 8:41One of the longest running open mic nights in Cleveland.
  144. 8:46Yeah.
  145. 8:47I started, that's where I, shoot, I first started, when I first started getting out here,
  146. 8:51being on the forefront.
  147. 8:54I started, I think I was fueled by Temple with passion.
  148. 8:57So I give Temple with passion a lot of credit as far as me just performing.
  149. 9:02Like, you know, at the time they were handling more business for me than okay.
  150. 9:08You know, but.
  151. 9:11Yeah.
  152. 9:12It is, man.
  153. 9:14Do you see yourself putting on more shows or putting on like events or anything like that in that aspect?
  154. 9:20Oh, yeah.
  155. 9:23Like I was telling you earlier, man, I'm going to put something together for the Pull Up Experience.
  156. 9:30So we're going to look out for that offer.
  157. 9:33We are putting something together for our fifth year anniversary of the Pull Up Experience.
  158. 9:42So, yeah, we are creating something.
  159. 9:45I'm going to, you know, shoot some ideas, you know, hear everybody else ideas.
  160. 9:50We pull it together and we're going to come up with something great for the public.
  161. 9:54City of Cleveland, surrounding cities.
  162. 9:57Even if you got a state, you know, because, man, we be traveling to y'all.
  163. 10:01Come travel with us, you know.
  164. 10:04Come see what Cleveland is like.
  165. 10:06We're thinking about like, you know.
  166. 10:08I'm living what I'm thinking.
  167. 10:09Couple, couple grand.
  168. 10:11Yeah.
  169. 10:11Couple grand for this offer.
  170. 10:13It's going to be an all day thing, you know.
  171. 10:15Hang out with the VIPs, the Pull Up Experience itself and our friends, our network.
  172. 10:23And come learn.
  173. 10:24Mastermind with us.
  174. 10:24Come party.
  175. 10:26Hey, all day.
  176. 10:28It sounds like a vibe, man.
  177. 10:29I ain't going to lie though.
  178. 10:30For real.
  179. 10:31It's the fifth year.
  180. 10:32It's like.
  181. 10:33Yeah, that sounds like it's going to be going.
  182. 10:35I ain't going to lie, y'all.
  183. 10:36You don't want to have to come out, step out, man.
  184. 10:37You never know who you might meet.
  185. 10:39It's been so many people who then came through the Pull Up Experience.
  186. 10:42Big ups to y'all.
  187. 10:43I'm so proud of everybody who has, you know, dedicated, you know, to that platform.
  188. 10:50Including you, my brother, man.
  189. 10:51And everything that you have done throughout the community.
  190. 10:55You know, big ups to you, man.
  191. 10:57Just all the way around, man.
  192. 10:59You know, jack of all trades, bro.
  193. 11:02Like, what can you not do?
  194. 11:04It's the next question I have for you.
  195. 11:07Mr.
  196. 11:08Well, before I answer, you're going to have to ask me that again.
  197. 11:11I got to shout out.
  198. 11:13I got it.
  199. 11:14I got it.
  200. 11:14I got to shut out the team because I know when I shout them everybody out, like, what was the question?
  201. 11:18So I'm going to ask it again.
  202. 11:19I got to shout out the team before we leave off with that.
  203. 11:24Man, first off, man, you know, Brandon Gates, man.
  204. 11:30Yes.
  205. 11:32Definitely the face of the Pull Up Experience, you know, founder, co-founder.
  206. 11:38Along with Markita, Eddie.
  207. 11:42And, yeah.
  208. 11:46But, you know, the whole team from Miss Overflow Studios.
  209. 11:54My love, my right hand, Miss Brianna Casanova.
  210. 11:59Brittany Knight, Michelle Gates, you know.
  211. 12:04Brittany with Beauty Be Toed.
  212. 12:06You know, we joke around with Beauty Be Toed, but, you know, just having fun.
  213. 12:11And, you know, we loving our consistency.
  214. 12:13And I'm proud.
  215. 12:15You know, we kind of stepped out around the same time, but she was releasing, you know, way before I started.
  216. 12:22So she didn't want a podcast.
  217. 12:25But now, you know, co-hosting and has her own podcast.
  218. 12:30It's a beauty.
  219. 12:31And Michelle, Michelle Gates, Lady Gates, man.
  220. 12:35Behind the, real behind the scenes, like, you know.
  221. 12:38Hey, get some operations together and, you know, event coordinator, virtual assistance services.
  222. 12:47Anything administrative, definitely hit up MJM Virtual Assistance with Michelle Gates.
  223. 12:55Then we have Sam, Samantha.
  224. 12:59Yes.
  225. 13:00Oh my goodness.
  226. 13:01I remember being at a show, a modeling show.
  227. 13:05I was hired to be a photographer for a friend, family at the time.
  228. 13:13And yeah, she was hosting, I believe.
  229. 13:17Yeah, she was hosting art, either modeling.
  230. 13:19I think at the time she was modeling.
  231. 13:23And yeah, she killed it.
  232. 13:26I think she was hosting.
  233. 13:27I remember she changed so many outfits.
  234. 13:29I think she was hosting.
  235. 13:31And like, man, I'm like, who is this woman?
  236. 13:33She killed it.
  237. 13:34I remember that day.
  238. 13:36And I think I told her once.
  239. 13:38I'm like, man, I remember it so vividly.
  240. 13:40Like, man, I'm going to be working with her one day.
  241. 13:43And look, she's a part of the team full of experience.
  242. 13:47And then we have Ms. Nakia Hudson, To You Wise.
  243. 13:52You know who?
  244. 13:53My favorite one.
  245. 13:54I'll be telling everybody about To You Wise.
  246. 13:56It's the best wine.
  247. 13:58If I'm buying some wine, I'm probably buying two wines most of the time.
  248. 14:03Yeah, I'll double that.
  249. 14:04Yeah, I've had their wines, a variety of them, actually.
  250. 14:09And every one of them, I will say, has been amazing.
  251. 14:13Like, I'm not no lie.
  252. 14:15And a high percentage as well.
  253. 14:17Like, you know, I'm talking about us.
  254. 14:21I don't even want to misquote, you know what I'm saying?
  255. 14:25But just check them out, man.
  256. 14:27They definitely are doing a great service with the wines.
  257. 14:31And that would be 14%, by the way, for most of them.
  258. 14:34Mostly for the dry.
  259. 14:36Yeah.
  260. 14:38But again, don't quote me either.
  261. 14:40Yeah, right.
  262. 14:41Because I don't...
  263. 14:42I was about to say 15, but I...
  264. 14:44Because, yeah, I was going...
  265. 14:46What's wrong?
  266. 14:47It was up there.
  267. 14:49So either way, they taste amazing.
  268. 14:52Yeah, just check them out.
  269. 14:54I think 13.5% Grille.
  270. 14:58That's the...
  271. 14:59We like to party.
  272. 15:03That's my go-to.
  273. 15:05One of my favorites.
  274. 15:08And she also supplies the wines to different restaurants.
  275. 15:14So if you want your restaurant to supply 2U wines,
  276. 15:18let's definitely reach out to Ms. Nakia Elber at 2U Wines in South Euclid, Ohio.
  277. 15:25And stay tuned for the next wine and dine fest.
  278. 15:33The next South Euclid wine and dine fest with 2U Wines and four bistros.
  279. 15:40Every summer, or end of the summer, I would say.
  280. 15:44So look out every August around that time.
  281. 15:49It's going down.
  282. 15:50I have to put that on the calendar.
  283. 15:51And I'm there every year.
  284. 15:53It's been a great run and building.
  285. 15:57And you know how I am with business.
  286. 16:00So we're going to keep building it out and see what works.
  287. 16:06But yeah, I did a little media this year.
  288. 16:11The first year, interviews with the Pull Up Experience team.
  289. 16:16This year, I'm like, we've got to get more content and work out something.
  290. 16:24But yeah, for this next year, for the wine and dine fest, we're going to build it out more.
  291. 16:33We're about to put the pieces together.
  292. 16:34Here we go.
  293. 16:37Actually, about that offer with our five-year anniversary, we might have to get you on the mic.
  294. 16:45Oh, man.
  295. 16:46What?
  296. 16:47Since I'm retired, I'm like, all right, you take more place with the music.
  297. 16:52Come on, man.
  298. 16:53You're my closest.
  299. 16:56They might get a better show.
  300. 17:01We're building it then.
  301. 17:04I appreciate that, though.
  302. 17:05We'll have some music, some entertainment.
  303. 17:08Hey, with the Pull Up Experience, you never know, man.
  304. 17:12Like I said, my network big, but put us all together.
  305. 17:17Oh, yeah.
  306. 17:19That's what it's about, man.
  307. 17:20It's coming together, man, and really just pushing our city forward, man.
  308. 17:25Pushing our communities forward and beyond our city, you know what I'm saying, around the world.
  309. 17:30This is bigger than us.
  310. 17:33I love everything that y'all are doing.
  311. 17:35Yeah, you sat down with us a couple times.
  312. 17:38Absolutely.
  313. 17:40I'm more than honored to come and participate in whatever I can, whether it's performing or getting on a podcast or whatever.
  314. 17:53It really, you know what I'm saying, it's just all about, like I said, us coming together and pushing, you know what I'm saying, something that's supporting another person, because that's another big thing, and probably be supportive.
  315. 18:06I'll say it with me to my last question, of course, you know what I'm saying, of course.
  316. 18:09Last question.
  317. 18:10I love it.
  318. 18:16For today.
  319. 18:17For today.
  320. 18:18No, yeah, yeah, right, right, right.
  321. 18:21You know, and then I know that, of course, this has always been a question, you know what I'm saying, rooming around, you know what I'm saying, but just, you know, you seem to be more behind the scenes than Mike.
  322. 18:31You know what I'm saying?
  323. 18:32And I just wanted to know more, you know, as, you know, what do you see yours and how you can support the city and what ways do you see yourself in the future?
  324. 18:47Being able to see support, you know, people that surround you, you know what I'm saying?
  325. 18:53What support systems do you think that, you know, we need in the city of Cleveland that you would want to see yourself a part of, if that makes sense?
  326. 19:05Well, I love fitness, you know?
  327. 19:09Like, you know, I even told you, I'm like, man, I want to get out and hoop at least twice a week, once or twice a week.
  328. 19:19If anything, once, let's push for two.
  329. 19:23And you've been awesome rounds on me most of the time.
  330. 19:26Yeah, we pretty much every week now.
  331. 19:29Yeah.
  332. 19:29So we've been out here.
  333. 19:32Hey, we out here too.
  334. 19:33We actually tried today.
  335. 19:35We tried.
  336. 19:35Yeah, that's why I'm like, hey, we can finally have a conversation and sit down.
  337. 19:40Yeah.
  338. 19:41Maybe a podcast.
  339. 19:42Yeah.
  340. 19:43So, yeah.
  341. 19:45I was raining right now, but it's all right.
  342. 19:48Yeah, I would say fitness.
  343. 19:49And I want to start like a walking, running thing, like a club almost, where mainly creative entrepreneurs, but, you know, entrepreneurs, creatives, anything in between.
  344. 20:03But I mean, if anybody, you know, you just want to be out, you know, check us out in the community.
  345. 20:08As long as you're doing good, you know, got a good head on your shoulders.
  346. 20:12Yeah.
  347. 20:13You're respectable.
  348. 20:14You want to work and run and get this work in.
  349. 20:18But, you know, of course, if you have medical problems or issues, you know, it may be a little high speed.
  350. 20:27So, you know, I don't want to say not come up, but, you know, you got your own risk.
  351. 20:35But we will always be there to support.
  352. 20:37But, you know, it is going to be a more of a faster pace, high speed type of thing.
  353. 20:43But, you know, maybe, you know, you can support the community and, you know, be a vendor.
  354. 20:48If you have a business, you know, you could be a vendor at the event, you know, as we, you know, have a check in.
  355. 20:55And then they got to check in with you in order to, you know, be a part of it.
  356. 21:00So, I don't ever want to count nobody else.
  357. 21:02See, I found a way, see.
  358. 21:04That's what I love about business is just being the glue.
  359. 21:07Yes.
  360. 21:07Like, no matter what I got to be, if I got to be the host, I'll be the host.
  361. 21:10If I'm the photographer, I'm the videographer, film man, producer, director, you know.
  362. 21:17If I got to do wardrobe, like, hey, hey, people don't have on different clothes.
  363. 21:24I'm like, my bad, but hey, we made it work.
  364. 21:28Yeah, see.
  365. 21:29And that's why, hey, I think that's why, you know, a lot of people appreciate you including myself, bro.
  366. 21:35You know, because you step in your role.
  367. 21:40You know, from the times that I've known you, bro, you've always stepped in your roles, no matter what that role had to be.
  368. 21:46And I think that's what made you damn near a master of all trades.
  369. 21:50You know what I'm saying?
  370. 21:50I mean, you know, like, that's, you know, like, you know, for real, you know.
  371. 21:55Title of the episode, Master of All Trades.
  372. 21:58I mean, that sounds like something for sure.
  373. 22:00Woo!
  374. 22:00Master of All Trades.
  375. 22:02That's a compliment, bro.
  376. 22:05That ain't a compliment.
  377. 22:05What's higher than a compliment?
  378. 22:07That's that.
  379. 22:07That's a trophy.
  380. 22:09I know.
  381. 22:09It's bigger than the trophy.
  382. 22:12That's what that's one of them was.
  383. 22:15That's a monument.
  384. 22:15It's a monument.
  385. 22:16That's an EMT.
  386. 22:17You know, that's like a monumental.
  387. 22:19It's monumental.
  388. 22:20You know, it's, you know, I would say, you know, you striving to reach that pinnacle to really being able to step into multiple roles and being able to, you know, step in any lane that you really want to step in, which is not something that a lot of people can say they can do.
  389. 22:36You know what I'm saying?
  390. 22:37So, you know.
  391. 22:39Hey, legends know legends, man.
  392. 22:41Hey.
  393. 22:42Blank.
  394. 22:42Hey, man.
  395. 22:43They know you from whether, you know, music production or rapping, you know, hip hop scene.
  396. 22:53But, you know, some know from both.
  397. 22:56But, you know, even drawing, even modeling.
  398. 23:00Oh, man.
  399. 23:02Going back.
  400. 23:03So, yeah.
  401. 23:04Thank you, man.
  402. 23:04I appreciate that.
  403. 23:05Even chess.
  404. 23:06We versatile, you know.
  405. 23:09I think that's the thing.
  406. 23:10You know, we're both able to be versatile and, you know, love the versatility.
  407. 23:16Yeah.
  408. 23:16You know, just showing up doing what works, man.
  409. 23:19Even shows on the basketball court, like, man, we be working.
  410. 23:24Yeah, man.
  411. 23:25We're having fun, too, though, man.
  412. 23:27We have fun, though.
  413. 23:28Like, people love hooping with us, man.
  414. 23:30We fun, man.
  415. 23:32We fun.
  416. 23:32We get the work out.
  417. 23:34We just here to work, you know.
  418. 23:36For real.
  419. 23:37Play the game.
  420. 23:38That's it, man.
  421. 23:38We don't do it complaining.
  422. 23:40Yeah.
  423. 23:40We chilling, bro.
  424. 23:42I appreciate your demeanor, bro.
  425. 23:43Like, how you carry yourself.
  426. 23:45Just in many different aspects, man.
  427. 23:48You know what I'm saying?
  428. 23:49Like, it's not too many people, like I said, that know how to navigate multiple
  429. 23:54rooms, multiple dimensions.
  430. 23:57Multiple dimensions.
  431. 23:58He pulling out the bags.
  432. 24:01He showing off.
  433. 24:03No, I'm not, bro.
  434. 24:04I'm not.

  442. 24:17He can't correct for y'all.
  443. 24:18He's like, hey.
  444. 24:20Hey.
  445. 24:21He's like, he ain't going to disappoint me.
  446. 24:24That's what's up, bro.
  447. 24:25No, for real.
  448. 24:26That's for real, man.
  449. 24:27I was putting on, hey.
  450. 24:32No, that's how we rolling, man.
  451. 24:34So I love it, man.
  452. 24:36I'm glad.
  453. 24:36That's why I said I'm happy to carry on this journey.
  454. 24:41You know what I'm saying?
  455. 24:41This partnership with you.
  456. 24:43You'd feel me if you down.
  457. 24:45You know what I'm saying?
  458. 24:47And seeing where we take this.
  459. 24:48You know what I'm saying?
  460. 24:49For real, so.
  461. 24:51Changing the culture.
  462. 24:53The music, business.
  463. 24:56Yeah.
  464. 24:56We only going to start it right there.
  465. 24:58Absolutely.
  466. 24:59It's going to be much more.
  467. 25:00Yeah.
  468. 25:01Start the music and the business from the core.
  469. 25:04I'm going to, like I said, continue to build it out.
  470. 25:08I'm going to go.
  471. 25:10I might put it into a song.
  472. 25:12I think that's what I'm going to do.
  473. 25:15Like the whole process.
  474. 25:18Like even from the starting, I said it on the podcast.
  475. 25:22I'm dropping the song.
  476. 25:23I'm going to sing along.
  477. 25:24Like even singing the whole process, even to the release of the song.
  478. 25:30Even showing my marketing plan.
  479. 25:33If you listen close to me in the song, I might make it a 20 minute chart.
  480. 25:38That'd be crazy.
  481. 25:40Wow.
  482. 25:41Are you producing this?
  483. 25:42Whoa.
  484. 25:44We're going on a journey.
  485. 25:46You said it.
  486. 25:47You said I got to come out with it.
  487. 25:49Hey, that's only right.
  488. 25:50Right.
  489. 25:51Man, because, bro, that's crazy.
  490. 25:57Hey, that's what I'm saying.
  491. 25:59We're going to talk about it.
  492. 25:59I'm like, no, we can do it live.
  493. 26:01But yeah, we might save it for another.
  494. 26:03We do some live, you know.
  495. 26:05That'd be.
  496. 26:06But we got some.
  497. 26:07We just did like a freestyle session.
  498. 26:11Like an hour, hour and a half.
  499. 26:13Yeah.
  500. 26:14We might drop that.
  501. 26:17You never know.
  502. 26:18You never know how it go.
  503. 26:20Hey.
  504. 26:21For real.
  505. 26:22So I'm definitely down, man.
  506. 26:24Like, you know, whatever.
  507. 26:26Like I said, I'm here to support whatever creative ideas you got, man.
  508. 26:30You know, I think that, again, that's foreign to me.
  509. 26:33But that's what makes you alien.
  510. 26:35I play it.
  511. 26:35You know what I'm saying?
  512. 26:36You know, like.
  513. 26:37Speaking of alien, we was out of this world at an amusement park filming your music video, man.
  514. 26:47Like, we were high in the sky.
  515. 26:49Oh, man.
  516. 26:50For higher.
  517. 26:51That was.
  518. 26:52That was.
  519. 26:53I will forever remember that.
  520. 26:55That's going to be one of my faves forever.
  521. 26:59You know what I'm saying?
  522. 27:00My favorite music videos because it was just so authentic and so real.
  523. 27:05You know what I'm saying?
  524. 27:06We were just playing those games.
  525. 27:08You know, we really was.
  526. 27:10You know, we really was.
  527. 27:13How did you feel like just, you know, in your experience?
  528. 27:17I told you I wanted the last question.
  529. 27:20Shoot.
  530. 27:21No, but we do got to get out of here, y'all.
  531. 27:23All right.
  532. 27:25Real, real quick.
  533. 27:26I would say.
  534. 27:30Because you know we can keep going.
  535. 27:31You know how it goes.
  536. 27:32The experience is, yeah, because I got to change, especially if, yeah.
  537. 27:38Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
  538. 27:39Yeah.
  539. 27:39I got to grab the camera.
  540. 27:41Oh, yeah, yeah.
  541. 27:42I got to.
  542. 27:42I'm about to get live.
  543. 27:43I got to stop at the studio.
  544. 27:47But yeah.
  545. 27:49It was a pretty experience, you know.
  546. 27:51I was tired as heck.
  547. 27:53But, you know, I had to come through.
  548. 27:55Still showed out, man.
  549. 27:57You did.
  550. 27:57You edited.
  551. 27:58You did your thing with that.
  552. 27:59I didn't know how you was going to do it.
  553. 28:02But you put the pieces together.
  554. 28:04And it was pretty quick, too.
  555. 28:06So, you know, I commend you for that.
  556. 28:08I was, you know, you had the vision in your head.
  557. 28:11You did the directing, too.
  558. 28:13Like, hey, you know.
  559. 28:15Hey, me times, you direct me.
  560. 28:17Oh, my God.
  561. 28:19Obviously, you know, directing.
  562. 28:21You did your thing with that.
  563. 28:22You already had your vision.
  564. 28:23But I love working with business owners and mainly creatives.
  565. 28:29Creative entrepreneurs.
  566. 28:31That's my, you know, core audience.
  567. 28:34I appreciate that.
  568. 28:34Because you come with your vision.
  569. 28:36You came with your vision.
  570. 28:37So at least it's not me having to pull everything out.
  571. 28:40It's like, yeah, this is the song.
  572. 28:43You know, I heard the song.
  573. 28:46My daughter loved the song.
  574. 28:48Yeah, I appreciate that.
  575. 28:49We didn't know she was singing.
  576. 28:51I really do appreciate that.
  577. 28:53So, you know, she came out to see you live.
  578. 28:56You know, a couple of times performing.
  579. 28:58That was, man.
  580. 29:01Yeah, you and B, man.
  581. 29:04Y'all came through so clutch, man.
  582. 29:07Shout out to you and Lady B, man.
  583. 29:09Real on that one, bro.
  584. 29:10That was our first.
  585. 29:11Yeah.
  586. 29:12We'll be our first music video.
  587. 29:17We.
  588. 29:17Free Nikalab.
  589. 29:19Well, no, we collab with Lady Poet.
  590. 29:23A couple of times.
  591. 29:24More so on the creative side as far as like a creative.
  592. 29:27But it was before, you know, clothing brand.
  593. 29:30Or like a music, a hip hop music video.
  594. 29:34Wow.
  595. 29:35High honor.
  596. 29:36Wow.
  597. 29:37Yeah.
  598. 29:37High honor, bro.
  599. 29:39Yeah.
  600. 29:40Wow.
  601. 29:40Wow.
  602. 29:42Yeah.
  603. 29:43So.
  604. 29:43Wow.
  605. 29:44Wow.
  606. 29:45And I definitely want to shout out creative frequency.
  607. 29:50That's that's that's our, you know, United.
  608. 29:52That's alienized photos and overflow studios.
  609. 29:56You know, our joint creative sessions are are studying
  610. 30:00are doing our work.
  611. 30:02We really be documenting us doing work like literally we edit
  612. 30:06and literally be doing research, building our our platforms,
  613. 30:12our offers, our communications, you know,
  614. 30:14how we strategize is catching up with each other and, you know,
  615. 30:18different businesses like she's a far better editor than me.
  616. 30:22Like, that's my consultant.
  617. 30:23You know, she she considered me, you know, her mentor and,
  618. 30:28you know, teacher.
  619. 30:29But like with the editor, I go to her.
  620. 30:32Like, you're my mentor in that.
  621. 30:34Like, so we just mentor each other as, you know, real relationships,
  622. 30:39you know, should, you know, teach each other.
  623. 30:43And yeah, you know, you know, you you you newly married now.
  624. 30:47Oh, yeah.
  625. 30:49Yeah.
  626. 30:50You feel like how how is it like even as far as like teaching,
  627. 30:55you know, each other or, you know, oh, yeah.
  628. 30:59How major is that in the relationship?
  629. 31:02I mean, it's one of the most important aspects of the relationship.
  630. 31:07You know, the relationship is actually there to the whole.
  631. 31:11One of the main purposes is to teach you to become a better,
  632. 31:16higher version of yourself.
  633. 31:18You know what I'm saying?
  634. 31:18And once you understand that, it really puts you in a different mindset
  635. 31:23and you can start to understand and put another level of balance
  636. 31:27within the relationship.
  637. 31:28And as the relationship goes on,
  638. 31:30and at least in a more healthy way,
  639. 31:33you start to be able to see how it gets better and better.
  640. 31:38You know what I'm saying?
  641. 31:38You know, you start to learn more patience.
  642. 31:41You know, you start to learn how to better communicate with each other.
  643. 31:47You know what I'm saying?
  644. 31:47And not go off the hinges because you were able to actually sit down
  645. 31:52and communicate and, you know,
  646. 31:53break down what you were able to feel in that moment without offending
  647. 31:58one another. You know what I'm saying?
  648. 31:59So it really takes a lot of practice and then it correlates to everyday life.
  649. 32:05You know, it teaches me as a man how to, you know,
  650. 32:08better navigate people in general.
  651. 32:09You know what I'm saying?
  652. 32:10On a day-to-day basis.
  653. 32:12You know what I'm saying?
  654. 32:12And so having that balance and being able to also have,
  655. 32:16you know, a good foundation and relationship at home,
  656. 32:19it helps you to just be in this very healthy mindset, you know,
  657. 32:24and really creates a level of, you know, balance.
  658. 32:29And at the same time, a zeal in your life.
  659. 32:32You know what I'm saying?
  660. 32:33To the point where you start to, you know, have a higher purpose.
  661. 32:37You know what I'm saying?
  662. 32:38Every single day is, you know, it just, I can go on and on.
  663. 32:43You know what I'm saying?
  664. 32:44You know, but that's just like my core answer, you know, of what I think.
  665. 32:50Why that part of the relationship is actually,
  666. 32:55I believe the most important aspect is learning from each other.
  667. 32:58You know what I'm saying?
  668. 32:59Yeah, it's huge.
  669. 33:00It's huge.
  670. 33:02It's like, that is the reason.
  671. 33:05The cheat code.
  672. 33:06It's the cheat code.
  673. 33:07You know what I'm saying?
  674. 33:07Of course to be in harmony and this, that,
  675. 33:10or to have kids and things like that.
  676. 33:13But the higher, the higher purpose is to be,
  677. 33:17be a higher version of yourself.
  678. 33:20You know what I'm saying?
  679. 33:20To become more compassionate for, you know,
  680. 33:23to understand the man and to understand the woman
  681. 33:26and to understand each other.
  682. 33:28Because without family, you know, none of this,
  683. 33:32that is the foundation of every aspect from the financial
  684. 33:35to the education to the religion.
  685. 33:37So without the foundation, the family, you got nothing.
  686. 33:46Man, I'm about to give you a formal episode, bro.
  687. 33:51You know, meeting E-Rock B.
