0:20sabbatical wow wow wow wow wow I am making progress I recently just wrapped
0:28up an interview with the power couple so just stay tuned yeah and the biggest
0:37thing was actually my topic for today so a lot of our conversation was about
0:44this topic which was systems so let's discuss the power of systems for your
0:52business systems is important it's important they create efficiency
1:02consistency help with your processes decision-making help you shift through
1:09data SOPs and proven scalability which is critical for growth keeps you
1:20streamlines communication for employees it is important just like every great
1:29sports championship team have a great system have a great playbook they
1:34follow which is made by the owners and the coaches the staff and then they
1:42implement it with the players and sometimes trades happen so the new
1:47players have to learn their system it's all about systems like if you
1:53watched the NBA the Spurs at one point do Greg Popovich had a great
2:01system like in the playoffs they had one of the best winning records in
2:06the playoffs and they won many championships in the Tim Duck and Tony
2:11Parker mono genoble era like wow so even going back a little further with
2:19the Chicago Bulls of Michael Jordan Scottie Pimpin they had a good system
2:25a good system with coach Jackson and not not me but I play basketball but
2:35that's here no there but having a great system for your business or
2:40you do because as a creative you may have a good system as a musician to jot
2:50down ideas and then have a writing session and then a recording session
2:55then a review session then the edit session of that song and then we
3:00record and then there's the mixing process and the mastering process and
3:05you publish and publish in the market promote so it's a system it steps so
3:15what system are you creating for your business do you need help with system
3:18I can help you with that I have people that better that's better than
3:23me that can help you with that but I surely can help you ask for help if
3:30you need it it is critical if you don't have a system get the assistance it is
3:38powerful it is major it is important now if you want to be consistent
3:48without stress or having to recreate the wheel or start fresh create a
3:55create SOPs standard operating procedures for your business it's easier
4:03for decisions you know the decision-making process is easier because
4:08you have that system like McDonald's has one of the best systems like
4:13plug-and-play like they hired high schoolers and first day they know
4:21to do because they have a great system easy system scalable system that's why
4:30they have so many chains of restaurants so many locations so just think about
4:41that what business can you model that has a great system like if you're in
4:48fast-food restaurant business McDonald's has a great system that you can follow
4:54so what company in your industry have a good or great or amazing system that
5:03you could kind of model and replicate and get some ideas from and help build
5:07your own system from that system again if you need help find someone that
5:13could help and I'm that person that can help it doesn't have to be me

5:41time off right you want to have that that day break you don't want to
5:47always be so involved in your business right I know starting off we have to we
5:54got to do the groundwork but we have to build the system so we can be able to
5:58take time away from our business and let it grow itself they said if you
6:03can't take two to three months away from your business then you don't have
6:07a good function running business if it can't live and breathe without you
6:12then you don't have a good business that you could just step away from it
6:15in a time away like I'm right now I'm currently so involved in my business
6:21like I'm in the face of my business and I can't step away that's not good
6:29there's there's moments are like one or two events as I do event photography
6:34and weddings that I can but that's not like all the time I'm not an
6:40agency nor do I desire to be an agency but I need to follow an agency model to
6:47scale to where I want to be and be able to step away from my company for
6:52months at a time you know as I build out my coaching practice and work with
6:59my partners and also build this podcast to where I want to build it
7:04I need to find a better system find a better method that works for me where I
7:12don't have to be as involved but still have that control and you know can
7:17assist when needed my phone call away versus have to be there day to day to
7:23day hour after hour after long hours and I put in long hours but if I
7:30a better system which I'm currently building oh it's gonna be better hire the
7:37right staff so you know they could just look over this SOP again standard
7:43operating procedures look at a video that you did and just catch on like
7:49okay this is how it's done it's like do it at a data right it steps
7:54built out those steps increase your bottom line you know you're more
8:00profitable if you had the right systems in place and central systems could be if
8:07you look at my two two episodes one offers I think that's episode four or
8:16six what is one of my earlier episodes back when I was numbering
8:21episodes now I'm just doing the titles again I'm targeting through SEO and
8:28keywords I'm just taking the episode numbers out cuz yeah I'm gonna have
8:33thousands of episodes like yeah I'm really turning all of this into master
8:38classes that you could just get the nuggets from the juice from just search
8:43the topic and yeah I pretty much talk about many different things and
8:51businesses are in business and entrepreneurship so cuz these a lot of
8:58things that I wanted to know as I was starting off you know my business and my
9:03journey early journey and entrepreneurship so yeah I'm doing this
9:09for the younger me the younger creative the young entrepreneur the teen
9:15entrepreneur the business minded entrepreneur that needs a spark or
9:21just that guidance this is why I started you know you become more
9:30efficient by making things simple by building out the right systems having
9:38the right system is important and that's all I wanted to leave everyone
9:45with because once you have that clarity everything becomes golden
9:53everything becomes up as far as being progressive and I believe in for up
10:01progression you know things are going up and they're moving forward those only
10:06two directions that I love especially when we talk about money and making a
10:10profit and if you're in business the thing you have to make a profit are
10:15you going to go out of business and we've seen through Kovac a lot of
10:20people don't have the right systems involved are a part of their
10:24business someone times like Kovac or a pandemic happened you know there
10:30can easily adjust and easily navigate through all that the chaos and the
10:38subtle changes a lot of people went out of business many business especially
10:43wrestling rights shut down cuz they had a plan in action so if you have a
10:48good plan you have a good system oh you're going somewhere so again this
10:55is all about systems the power of system so just think about that to help you
11:01be more efficient is great for productivity keep you consistent better
11:06for the decision-making for scaling of course for the growth for the clarity
11:11also it can reduce cost that's something I didn't talk about it
11:15reduces your cost your bottom line that way you have more profit the
11:22line grows get bigger the ceiling is bigger the more you can hire out
11:29employees and a team and you don't have to be that active in your business
11:34of course you're still going to have to be active and put a lot of
11:38groundwork up front but once you put those systems in place you can slowly
11:44start to step away and kind of be like a manager of it all director
11:48and that's what you want to be and become more of a director just think
