2:22and creating and developing and partnering with.
2:29But one step at a time, one thing at a time,
2:34and I don't like doing multiple things,
2:36new things at a time.
2:39And I've been in my photography business for,
2:42well, officially three years,
2:44but I've been filming and doing photography
2:47for about seven years now.
2:53And I took my time with it
2:55because I was doing music and poetry,
2:57you know, writing, creating, performing, recording.
3:01And I made that shift.
3:06Got training, self-training.
3:09Bought courses, bought books,
3:12invested in myself, bought a camera,
3:14professional camera.
3:15I'm like, yeah, I gotta go all in now.
3:18I was using an iPhone,
3:20like I'm a wizard with the iPhone, don't get me wrong.
3:22Still to this day,
3:24I create some great content on the phone.
3:30On the phone, iPhone, let me correct, iPhone.
3:34Give me no Android, no other stuff.
3:36I heard they're pretty good though,
3:38but give me iPhone because that's what I know,
3:41that's what I use, and that's how I started.
3:45You know, I used a little windup camera,
3:47the little 12-shot film cameras
3:50back in the day when I was little.
3:54You know, my mother brought me two,
3:56so I had 24 shots.
3:59When I went on a field trip,
4:00she always got me two cameras.
4:02Well, she stopped giving me two
4:04and started just buying me one.
4:06So I really had 12 shots,
4:08and it was a time that, you know,
4:10we didn't have the money at the time.
4:13You know how it is growing up.
4:16Priorities, you know, do you wanna eat
4:18or do you want this camera?
4:20You know, I chose some snacks over the camera,
4:23so I'm like, all right.
4:25So I only got one camera at the time.
4:27So I only had 12 shots.
4:29Went to the zoo, you know,
4:31seeing different animals I've never seen before.
4:33I'm like six, six, seven, six or seven,
4:37or maybe even, no, I don't think I was eight.
4:39I was like six or seven, six, seven.
4:41But anyway, I was around that young age
4:44going on a field trip to the zoo,
4:46seeing these new animals.
4:47I'm just clicking the button.
4:48I'm like, I wanna remember all this.
4:51We didn't even get 10 minutes into the zoo.
4:55I see a number in the bottom corner that says two.
4:59I'm like, ooh, is this the number of photos
5:06I'm able to take that's left?
5:10Well, I used it on a random thing, a test shot.
5:14Let me test, let me just press this button.
5:17I'm like, no, let me just wait for something
5:19I really wanna take a picture of before I click it.
5:21Like I was very intuitive and it's back in the day,
5:25like young, just imagine me now.
5:29And it wasn't something I really wanted to take a picture of,
5:33but I'm like, if I take a picture of this, it's decent.
5:36Enough for me to want to remember it.
5:39I clicked it, I seen that number change.
5:41I'm like, oh, I only have one picture left.
5:47One photo left, oh my goodness.
5:52We just got in the zoo.
5:55We just started, I only got one photo left.
5:57So I'm like, I'm putting this thing in my coat pocket.
6:01I'm not taking it out until I really wanna take a picture.
6:05I see something just amazing.
6:07You know, I'm saying this all in my head,
6:09not allowed to, you know,
6:10the other students or teachers or chaperones.
6:12I'm just saying this all in my head.
6:15I said that little shot thing, like to somebody else,
6:18one other person, like, do you think
6:20if I press this button, a little thing,
6:23they ain't really understand.
6:25It was like, they never really operated a camera,
6:28so they didn't know.
6:30But I was just trying to get a second pair of eyes
6:33or a second, you know, thoughts on this
6:36because I wasn't sure.
6:39But when I found that I only had one photo left, man,
6:45I ended up pulling that thing out.
6:46A couple of minutes later, I couldn't resist.
6:49Click it!
6:51And then it says zero.
6:54And then I pressed it again.
6:56It said, devil's ear.
6:58I'm like, wait, they gave me an extra shot?
7:02Because I was able to click it
7:03because then I tried to click it,
7:04it just did nothing.
7:06Just like, okay, I'm really out of film.
7:07I really can't take any pictures, okay.
7:10I felt better because I had an extra shot
7:12because I used it on a test shot.
7:14So it was like, hmm, it works out in good karma.
7:17So all of that to say, you know,
7:21people that know me and my circles and inner circle,
