- 0:00So you guys are both gonna get issued a trespass rewardings from Walmart, okay?
- 0:04You guys are no longer allowed to go to any Walmart's any Sam's clubs or any Murphy gas station for life
- 0:09Okay, so there's a life ban whose issue in that what whose issue in the Walmart is
- 0:17So what would we do? That's any private business can I didn't go to Walmart?
- 0:22I came as I can't just do it for no reason again, even if no reason even if we're not they don't
- 0:36A
- 0:37Life ban
- 0:39Not come back in 90 days five years ten years
- 0:4450 years
- 0:46He's not even 50 not a ban till the holidays
- 0:53but for life
- 0:56This man now has a better shot at getting in a member's only golf club
- 1:02Than Walmart
- 1:04especially in the state of Ohio
- 1:08But welcome welcome welcome welcome
- 1:11back to alienize photos industry talk
- 1:15with your host photographer Jackson and I just wanted to share some light and my personal reflections on
- 1:25Damon Darlin's
- 1:28band from Walmart and
- 1:29Just being a creative entrepreneur as he is a comedian, which is a form of creativity
- 1:38Through your vocal telling jokes and also educating people so no
- 1:46personally a
- 1:48lot of comedians that I know are
- 1:51educators are they put history and current events in
- 1:56You know their stand-up
- 1:58Which I feel
- 2:00very very important
- 2:03now
- 2:05I've never been to one of his stand-up
- 2:08comedic shows
- 2:10But plan on it in the future when he comes to Ohio, maybe my hometown, Cleveland
- 2:17See it at the funny bone
- 2:20Definitely check it out. I definitely want to support and
- 2:23And
- 2:25But just just me being an entrepreneur I wanted to
- 2:31Just reflect that
- 2:33You know one thing
- 2:37Close multiple doors like one incident can close multiple doors like
- 2:43You know you getting banned from Walmart
- 2:47Who was also affiliated with Sam's Club and Murphy?
- 2:52USA gas stations, they're all connected and a band for one can be a band from thousands of locations and
- 3:02multiple brands
- 3:04not just you know the Walmart's the Sam Clubs, but
- 3:08Multiple brands that they are affiliated with not directly but you know
- 3:14They may have partners or people who they do business with so
- 3:20You know my lesson from that is before acting or acting out or acting up
- 3:26map the corporate relationships
- 3:30The blast radius can be small
- 3:34But it's bigger than you think you know
- 3:40They say why did he get banned and oh f Walmart work boycott in Walmart?
- 3:48I mean all he's being good. He's doing good
- 3:52Doing these charitable acts. He's giving money away. He's paying for groceries. He's paying for people
- 3:58X Y & Z
- 4:00You know speaking life and encouragement to people
- 4:07but how Walmart took it as
- 4:11disruptive behavior disruptive to their shoppers and
- 4:17You know just a respect and being you know shopping in peace and I get that but I
- 4:26Know when I heard that
- 4:28Life ban is like wow for someone being banned
- 4:33For life not just a couple months not just a year not five ten years before the life I
- 4:42had to do my own research and I
- 4:46Watched a lot of Damon Darlin's videos mainly on Instagram
- 4:51But some something told me to dive a little deeper and I watch
- 4:56some of his
- 4:57YouTube episodes like the long form content versus the short form
- 5:02which is a contrast and especially like those older videos like
- 5:07It on social media doesn't show him clipping his toenail or getting someone to clip his toenails
- 5:14or him pouring milk on us like I did not see that on Instagram, so
- 5:18Me checking out his YouTube. It was like a different person to me like wow I
- 5:24Did not know that like I was surprised so it
- 5:28It made me take a step back. It's still me back a little bit. I'm not gonna even you know lie on that
- 5:34but
- 5:36I'm like wow I
- 5:39Did not know
- 5:41And I'm not thinking in the other way, but
- 5:46That definitely hurt your brand
- 5:49And I know his biggest drive was to get his coffee brand me mom's field coffee and
- 5:57All the Walmart's but just going back to what I said earlier
- 6:01You know one
- 6:03Action of yours what incident can close multiple doors
- 6:07And he can't take it somewhere else
- 6:11Have different partners different relationships, but to me I feel like he should have went about it a different way
- 6:20No partner with a nonprofit to do these charitable acts to buy people's gas and groceries and give back
- 6:29Donate or even partner with Walmart's own
- 6:33You know a charitable
- 6:36foundations Walmart foundation
- 6:38The one that Sam's Club have you can find it all on no Walmart org for their no
- 6:45nonprofit and charity acts
- 6:48but if he didn't want to do any of that just starting a
- 6:53Nonprofit and keep a record of all of this and have people you know donate to his cause and he you know
- 7:00Recycle and give it back and partner with other nonprofits or
- 7:06You know there's there's other ways, but what I?
- 7:10Would have want to see you know in some of these videos
- 7:14Because there's a lot of homeless people as you know
- 7:20Passing away from hunger starvation
- 7:24lack of good quality water and care
- 7:28You know see some of those charitable acts
- 7:32with you know the homelessness that's on these streets and
- 7:36Being from where I'm coming from in the state of Ohio
- 7:39Which were both from no couple hours apart
- 7:45it is
- 7:47It's evident and is a solution is needed definitely
- 7:52but
- 7:53You know giving back to the middle class or lower middle class and
- 7:58You know people that struggling I get it, and it makes more of a story, and it's more interesting then
- 8:06you know what I just proclaim and just stated, but
- 8:11at the same time
- 8:13If we're going to do it
- 8:17Let's just start at the lowest level work our way up
- 8:20Especially in our home state or home town
- 8:24It's only right
- 8:27but
- 8:29You know to each his own I'm proud of what he's doing, but I just want him to recognize that
- 8:36You know being banned from Walmart, which is a big big corporation
- 8:41we all know and when these other organizations are
- 8:51doing their research when a
- 8:54Deal was being made or offer
- 8:56To get his coffee brand me mom's coffee fuel coffee in you know one of these other stores
- 9:05It's gonna be hard cuz that's gonna be the first thing they see like a live band and
- 9:11You know that's gonna raise a red flag and raise their eyebrows like should we do this
- 9:18Without doing even
- 9:20more research
- 9:23It's hard for them, so
- 9:27This is something I thought about and something I want every no entrepreneur business owner
- 9:35content creator
- 9:36Creative entrepreneur to really really think about as you're building your own brand as you're growing your brand
- 9:43and your public awareness
- 9:46and it's in it's hard because
- 9:50You know
- 9:51the chaos and
- 9:53the pranks
- 9:55The jokes
- 9:56You know the negative stuff the fights the all that gets attention and goes viral
- 10:03versus all the good acts and
- 10:08All the positivity that could be seen
- 10:12Like it needs to change and it hurts that
- 10:17you know
- 10:18Having to do these pranks and jokes sometimes and being in chaos
- 10:24Gets the attention the fire the viral attention
- 10:31man, it hurts
- 10:34And it's like why?
- 10:37can it be different because
- 10:39Doing those different acts hurt your brand
- 10:45it hurts your brand and
- 10:48That's one thing I always
- 10:51pride in just
- 10:53The brand especially as a personal brand and him being a face
- 10:59literally the face of his coffee brand
- 11:03Kind of depth damage the reputation in public and different brands and corporations and companies
- 11:12so
- 11:13Just something I wanted to take from this all
- 11:18You know kind of share light on especially to my audience my followers everybody that
- 11:24Trust me or come to me for advice like this is a lesson that I definitely wanted to document and
- 11:32You know documentation becomes intellectual property
- 11:36everything you post as an asset
- 11:39but on the flip side
- 11:42If you do something
- 11:44You know like that milk stunt and all the pranks like having someone clip this toenail
- 11:51in the middle of the story like what's
- 11:53but um, yeah that you know come back fire even years later, so
- 12:01Just be careful what you do what you put out
- 12:05Messages you portray
- 12:10Give off and tell
- 12:13Just just being more aware and more conscious of what you're doing
- 12:18It's good to uplift people give back to people
- 12:23And do good things for people and know everything doesn't have to be
- 12:31Glaring glam or chaotic or something negative just to get attention
- 12:39But remember
- 12:41Hey, make it interesting make it fun
- 12:45Make it great make it powerful
- 12:49You are the best you could be
- 12:53And I'm just I'm just proud of Damon Darling success and
- 12:59You know
- 13:00Just the numbers
- 13:02Across YouTube Facebook Instagram tick-tock
- 13:08Coming across
- 13:10almost 8 8 million
- 13:13This is in August so
- 13:16maybe by the end of
- 13:182026 or beginning of
- 13:202027 if I have a collective billion followers, which is amazing
- 13:26that doesn't even
- 13:28Testify for the people that doesn't have social media or who haven't even subscribed
- 13:34But really support him in real life and people who speak over, you know him in real life
- 13:42Positivity and praying
- 13:44prayers and all that good stuff
- 13:47Like I said, I definitely want to check out and support
- 13:52one of his
- 13:53Comedy shows upcoming stand-up comedy shows. I think I
- 14:01Think he is stopping in Ohio at funny bone

- 14:09So I'll check that out either one
- 14:13We will see
