  1. 0:01Do you know learning styles can hinder, hurt,
  2. 0:10or make progression on your understanding
  3. 0:13on the way you learn?
  4. 0:16It took me some time to reflect on
  5. 0:24why I wasn't grasped in subjects.
  6. 0:26Like I'm currently studying coding,
  7. 0:31getting more and more into tech space,
  8. 0:33studying coding, getting into coding,
  9. 0:37and eventually I would start dabbling around
  10. 0:40with vibe coding, which is using natural language
  11. 0:44versus the coding language, computer language.
  12. 0:50But I want to know both, and effectively.
  13. 0:54So starting from the basis all the way to coding.
  14. 0:59And I listened to a lot of my information
  15. 1:05rather than as partners or even clients
  16. 1:09working on different projects
  17. 1:11with video production and marketing,
  18. 1:17but with podcasts and lectures to add to that
  19. 1:21because I'm driving most of the time
  20. 1:24and having phone conversations,
  21. 1:29that auditory is my biggest thing.
  22. 1:34But knowing me and doing some reflections,
  23. 1:37like wow, in school I was more of a visual learning
  24. 1:44and kinesthetic, like I was so hands on
  25. 1:48and I had to see it.
  26. 1:50I had to see it, show me the graphs,
  27. 1:53show me this, show me that, I was visual.
  28. 1:55Like for us men, even seeing a beautiful woman is visual.
  29. 2:02We see them first, then for me it's more so doing
  30. 2:08and being together, hands on experience.
  31. 2:12And my lady could definitely say that as I'm a filler.
  32. 2:20And my love language is physical touch.
  33. 2:24Which kind of plays along with the learning style.
  34. 2:30If I was a mechanic, I would have to do it.
  35. 2:37I would have to feel the tools, play with the tools,
  36. 2:39notice the size, lugs and all of this and that.
  37. 2:45And then visual also, just seeing it in repetitions
  38. 2:48and seeing how things are placed and should be placed
  39. 2:53and all aligned, I mean alignment isn't right
  40. 2:56because you don't want an unbalanced car
  41. 2:58or things out of place or loose,
  42. 3:01so things have to be aligned.
  43. 3:06But I would say that was my learning style,
  44. 3:09kinesthetic visual learner.
  45. 3:12You know, I had to do, I had to see, I had to touch.
  46. 3:17And those were my biggest things
  47. 3:19and as I kind of shift towards my learning ability,
  48. 3:25and even the opportunity to sense.
  49. 3:28Like I said, I'm more of an auditory
  50. 3:32and I think that's a balance,
  51. 3:34it's like a split third place,
  52. 3:38just like kinesthetic and visual.
  53. 3:41Reading and writing and that's tied with auditory.
  54. 3:48But like I said, I'm always driving or on the go
  55. 3:52or editing photos or doing this and that.
  56. 3:55So in the background, I'm listening to different podcasts
  57. 4:00and lectures and audio books.
  58. 4:04And that's like my third learning style
  59. 4:09as far as being effective in me learning and understanding,
  60. 4:17which I say it can hinder, hurt,
  61. 4:21or make beautiful progression.
  62. 4:22It could all be beautiful.
  63. 4:24But you never know and sometimes it's situational.
  64. 4:29Sometimes I do need to read and write,
  65. 4:33take notes, cause I am a note taker,
  66. 4:36so in different settings and different things work.
  67. 4:43Yeah, being in that balance
  68. 4:45between the kinesthetic and visual learner,
  69. 4:49I know I wanna shift a lot of things in my business
  70. 4:52and how I retain the knowledge,
  71. 4:58which simply by doing.
  72. 5:03And most visual learners have that good retention.
  73. 5:07So, but I read this article by Bay Atlantic University,
  74. 5:14translating abstract ideas into visual metaphors,
  75. 5:20visual learners improve memory recall,
  76. 5:23enjoy increased focus,
  77. 5:26and can independently grabs,
  78. 5:28organize and analyze information,
  79. 5:31making learning more efficient and enjoyable.
  80. 5:36That's what I love, the beauty, the thrill,
  81. 5:39me just being curious.
  82. 5:41Once I'm curious, I will lock in
  83. 5:44and try to understand it the best way
  84. 5:46that I can go all in,
  85. 5:50like I'm slowly getting to coding, like I mentioned.
  86. 5:56So if anyone wants to help or have a coding course,
  87. 6:02something more shorter where I could just digest it.
  88. 6:07Mainly on the go, but if you wanna do a one-on-one,
  89. 6:11like I said, I'm wearing hands-on
  90. 6:12and we can go through some examples and some build-outs
  91. 6:15cause I have a lot of great ideas,
  92. 6:18especially in this entrepreneur space
  93. 6:22with my creative entrepreneurs, my business owners.
  94. 6:27I have a lot of great ideas
  95. 6:28and I know I'm only one person.
  96. 6:31We have 24 hours a day
  97. 6:35and a third of that we must get some sleep
  98. 6:38to functionally operate.
  99. 6:41At least you should be getting that much of sleep.
  100. 6:44If you listen to my previous episode,
  101. 6:4733 minutes of sleep, working while I'm tired,
  102. 6:51building while I'm tired, yeah, it gets real sometimes,
  103. 6:55but that's not all days and I always shoot
  104. 6:59for that six to eight hours of sleep.
  105. 7:02If I could get to that divine nine sometime,
  106. 7:05oof, you'd love it when I'm around.
  107. 7:07I would love to, I would surely love to,
  108. 7:12but right now sometimes it is 33 minutes
  109. 7:17out of the 24 hours in a day.
  110. 7:21Something like once or twice a year,
  111. 7:23I try not to, at least minimum three and a half
  112. 7:29where I could just be almost fully functional.
  113. 7:35It's because I'm used to it,
  114. 7:37but once I get that seven, eight hours of rest, sleep,
  115. 7:42I am golden and I am ready to perform at a high level.
  116. 7:47And for my clients, that's what I am learning.
  117. 7:51That's why I'm not taking on a lot of projects,
  118. 7:53a lot of coaching clients, saying yes to everything.
  119. 7:58Because I wanna get more rest
  120. 7:59and perform at a higher level
  121. 8:03than what most people even see me be more creative
  122. 8:07and be more ambitious and focused.
  123. 8:10I wanna give it more, more of my all,
  124. 8:16not just 80, 85%, I wanna give 101 at least,
  125. 8:22at least.
  126. 8:24When rest and knowing your learning style
  127. 8:27and communication style, it helps.
  128. 8:31It helps tremendously.
  129. 8:35And it was just something I was thinking about
  130. 8:37and reflect upon like dang,
  131. 8:39I remember in school we had these learning styles.
  132. 8:43Why am I not implying that to my adult life,
  133. 8:47to my business, how I'm learning about
  134. 8:49different businesses and different industries and coding?
  135. 8:55So it's something to think about for yourself.
  136. 8:59Take that time maybe in silence and meditation,
  137. 9:04paper, a pen, journal,
  138. 9:08however you do it, whatever your learning style is,
  139. 9:12whatever your love language is,
  140. 9:14whatever your communication style is,
  141. 9:17which is all important.
  142. 9:22It is all important.
  143. 9:25And once you love, going back to love language,
  144. 9:28once you love what you're doing,
  145. 9:31love what you're learning,
  146. 9:34you wanna be almost obsessed with it.
  147. 9:38And sometimes it gets to that point where you be up
  148. 9:4224, 25, 26, 27 hours in a day and counting,
  149. 9:52which I've done.
  150. 9:54I've been up 32 hours straight one time,
  151. 9:59just fascinated, curious.
  152. 10:04And now I'm doing research on historical entrepreneurs
  153. 10:10and I might have a series coming out.
  154. 10:13So stay tuned for that.
  155. 10:15That's gonna be amazing.
  156. 10:18Something new, switch it up some time or two.
  157. 10:23But yeah, I just wanna take the time
  158. 10:25and reflect on learning style and my learning style
  159. 10:28and how you can and I can apply it to our business.
  160. 10:35Our business is.
  161. 10:37But this is a wrap, another episode in the books.
  162. 10:42Again, this is about learning styles.
  163. 10:46It can help you or it can hinder you, hurt you,
  164. 10:51or it can make beautiful progression
  165. 10:53and help you beautifully, absolutely amazingly.
  166. 10:59And this is photographer Jackson,
  167. 11:03Steve Jackson of Alien Eyes Photos Media.

  170. 11:21And follow me at Alien Eyes Photos on all media.
